አሌ፡ ለክሙ፡ እለ፡ ትበልዑ፡ ስብሐ፡ ሥርናይ፡ ወትሰትዩ፡ ኀይለ፡ ሥርወ፡ ነቅዕ፡ ወትከይድዎሙ፡ ለኃጥኣን፡ በኀይልክሙ።
Woe to you who devour the finest of the wheat, And drink wine in large bowls, And tread under foot the lowly with your might.
