וַיֹּ֥אמֶר דָּוִ֖יד לִשְׁלֹמֹ֑ה בנו בְּנִ֕י אֲנִי֙ הָיָ֣ה עִם־לְבָבִ֔י לִבְנ֣וֹת בַּ֔יִת לְשֵׁ֖ם יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהָֽי׃
“My son,” said David to Solomon, “it was in my heart to build a house for the Name of the LORD my God,
