Hebrew Bible — 1 Samuel
וְדָוִ֛ד הֹלֵ֥ךְ וָשָׁ֖ב מֵעַ֣ל שָׁא֑וּל לִרְע֛וֹת אֶת־צֹ֥אן אָבִ֖יו בֵּֽית־לָֽחֶם׃
but David went back and forth from Saul to tend his father’s sheep in Bethlehem.
