LXX 2 Macc 1:33 Ancient Greek Septuagint (Swete) — 2 Maccabees
ὡς δὲ φανερὸν ἐγενήθη τὸ πρῆγμα, καὶ διηγγέλη τῷ βασιλεῖ τῶν Περσῶν ὅτι εἰς τὸν τόπον οὗ τὸ πῦρ ἔκρυψαν οἱ μεταχθέντες ἱερεῖς τὸ ὕδωρ ἐφάνη, ἀφʼ οὖ καὶ οἱ περὶ τὸν Νεεμίαν ἥγνισαν τὰς θυσίας,
And when this matter became public, it was told to the king of Persia, that in the place where the priests that were led away, had hid the fire, there appeared water, with which Nehemias and they that were with him had purified the sacrifices.
