LXX 2 Macc 10:12

Πτολεμαῖιος γὰρ ὁ καλούμενος Μάκρων, τὸ δίκαιον συντηρεῖν προηγούμενος πρὸς τοὺς Ἰουδαίους διὰ τὴν γεγονυῖαν πρὸς αὐτοὺς ἀδικίαν, ἐπειρᾶτο τὰ πρὸς αὐτοὺς εἰρηνικῶς διεξάγειν.

For Ptolemee, that was called Macer, was determined to be strictly just to the Jews and especially by reason of the wrong that had been done them, and to deal peaceably with them.
