LXX 2 Macc 10:17 Ancient Greek Septuagint (Swete) — 2 Maccabees

οἷς καὶ προσβαλόντες εὐρώστως, ἐνκρατεῖς ἐγένοντο τῶν τόπων, πάντας τε τοὺς ἐπὶ τῷ τείχει μαχομένους ἡμύναντο, κατέσφαζόν τε τοὺς ἐνπίπτοντας, ἀνεῖλον δὲ οὐχ ἧττον τῶν δισμυρίων.

And assaulting them with great force, won the holds, killed them that came in the way, and slew altogether no fewer than twenty thousand.
