LXX 2 Macc 12:14 Ancient Greek Septuagint (Swete) — 2 Maccabees
οἱ δὲ ἔνδον πεποιθότες τῇ τῶν τειχέων ἐρυμνότητι τῇ τε τῶν βρωμάτων παραθέσει, ἀναγωγότερον ἐχρῶντο τοῖς περὶ τὸν Ἰούδαν, λοιδοροῦντες, καὶ προσέτι βλασφημοῦντες καὶ λαλοῦντες ἃ μὴ θέμις.
But they that were within it, trusting in the strength of the walls, and the provision of victuals, behaved in a more negligent manner, and provoked Judas with railing and blaspheming, and uttering such words as were not to be spoken.
