LXX 2 Macc 12:28 Ancient Greek Septuagint (Swete) — 2 Maccabees
ἐπικαλεσάμενοι δὲ τὸν δυνάστην τὸν μετὰ κράτους συντρίβοντα τὰς τῶν πολεμίων ὁλκάς, ἔλαβον τὴν πόλιν ὑποχείριον, κατέστρωσαν δὲ τῶν ἔνδον εἰς μυριάδας δύο πεντακισχιλίους.
But when they had invocated the Almighty, who with his power breaketh the strength of the enemies, they took the city: and slew five and twenty thousand of them that were within.
