LXX 2 Macc 12:43 Ancient Greek Septuagint (Swete) — 2 Maccabees
ποιησάμενός τε κατʼ ἀνδρολογεῖον εἰς ἀργυρίου δραχμὰς δισχιλίας ἀπέστειλεν εἰς Ἰεροσόλυμα προσαγαγεῖν περὶ ἁμαρτίας θυσίαν, πάνυ καλῶς καὶ ἀστείως πράττων, ὑπὲρ ἀναστάσεως ἀναλογιζόμενος.
And making a gathering, he sent twelve thousand drachms of silver to Jerusalem for sacrifice to be offered for the sins of the dead, thinking well and religiously concerning the resurrection.
