LXX 2 Macc 14:41 Ancient Greek Septuagint (Swete) — 2 Maccabees
τῶν δὲ πληθῶν μελλόντων τὸν πύργον καταλαβέσθαι καὶ τὴν αὐλαίαν θύραν βιαζομένων καὶ κελευόντων πῦρ προσάγειν καὶ τὰς θύρας ὑφάπτειν, περικατάλημπτος γενόμενος ὑπέθηκεν ἑαυτῷ τὸ ξίφος·
Now as the multitude sought to rush into his house, and to break open the door, and to set fire to it, when he was ready to be taken, he struck himself with his sword:
