LXX 2 Macc 14:43 Ancient Greek Septuagint (Swete) — 2 Maccabees
τῇ δὲ πληγῇ μὴ κατευθικτήσας διὰ τὴν τοῦ ἀγῶνος σπουδήν, καὶ τῶν ὄχλων ἔσω τῶν θυρωμάτων εἰσβαλλόντων, ἀναδραμὼν γενναίως ἐπὶ τὸ τεῖχος, κατεκρήμνισεν ἑαυτὸν ἀνδρωδῶς εἰς τοὺς ὄχλους.
But whereas through haste he missed of giving a sure wound, and the crowd was breaking into the doors, he ran boldly to the wall, and manfully threw himself down to the crowd:
