LXX 2 Macc 3:21 Ancient Greek Septuagint (Swete) — 2 Maccabees

ἐλεεῖν δὲ τὴν τοῦ πλήθους πανμιγῆ πρόπτωσιν, τὴν τε τοῦ μεγάλως ἀγωνιῶντος ἀρχιερέως προσδοκίον.

For the expectation of the mixed multitude, and of the high priest, who was in an agony, would have moved any one to pity.
