LXX 2 Macc 3:35 Ancient Greek Septuagint (Swete) — 2 Maccabees
ὁ δὲ Ἡλιόδωρος θυσίαν ἀνενεγκὼν τῷ θεῷ, καὶ εὐχὰς μεγίστας εὐξάμενος τῷ τὸ ζῆν περιποιήσαντι, καὶ τὸν Ὀνίαν ἀποδεξάμενος, ἀνεστρατοπέδευσεν πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα·
So Heliodorus, after he had offered a sacrifice to God, and made great vows to him, that had granted him life, and given thanks to Onias, taking his troops with him, returned to the king.
