LXX 2 Macc 4:42 Ancient Greek Septuagint (Swete) — 2 Maccabees
δι᾿ ἣν αἰτίαν πολλοὺς μέν αὐτῶν τραυματίας ἐποίησαν, τινὰς δέ κατέβαλον, πάντας δὲ εἰς φυγὴν συνήλασαν, αὐτὸν δὲ τὸν ἱερόσυλον παρὰ τὸ γαζοφυλάκιον ἐχειρώσαντο.
And many of them were wounded, and some struck down to the ground, but all were put to flight: and as for the sacrilegious fellow himself, they slew him beside the treasury.
