LXX 2 Macc 4:48 Ancient Greek Septuagint (Swete) — 2 Maccabees
ταχέως οὗν τὴν ἄδικον ζημίαν ὑπέσχον οἱ περὶ πόλεως καὶ δήμων καὶ τῶν ἱερῶν σκευῶν προηγορήσαντες.
Thus they that persecuted the cause for the city, and for the people, and the sacred vessels, did soon suffer unjust punishment.
