LXX 2 Macc 5:7 Ancient Greek Septuagint (Swete) — 2 Maccabees
τῆς μέν ἀρχῆς οὐκ ἐκράτησεν, τὸ δέ τέλος τῆς ἐπιβουλῆς αἰσχύνην λαβών, φυγὰς πάλιν εἰς τὴν Ἀμμανῖτιν παρῆλθεν.
Yet he did not get the principality, but received confusion at the end, for the reward of his treachery, and fled again into the country of the Ammonites.
