Septuagint (Swete) — 2 Maccabees
Συναγαγὼν δὲ ὁ Μακκαβαῖος τοὺς περὶ αὐτὸν ὄντας ἀριθμὸν ἑξακισχιλίους παρεκάλει μὴ καταπλαγῆναι τοῖς δεσμίο μηδὲ εὐλαβεῖσθαι τὴν τῶν ἀδίκως παραγενομένων ἐπʼ αὐτοὺς ἐθνῶν πολυπληθείαν, ἀγωνίσασθαι δὲ γενναίως,
But Machabeus calling together seven thousand that were with him, exhorted them not to be reconciled to the enemies, nor to fear the multitude of the enemies who came wrongfully against them, but to fight manfully:
