LXX 2 Macc 8:21 Ancient Greek Septuagint (Swete) — 2 Maccabees
ἐφ᾿ οἷς εὐθαρσεῖς αὐτοὺς παραστήσας καὶ ἑτοίμους ὑπέρ τῶν νόμων καὶ τῆς πατρίδος ἀποθνήσκειν τετραμερές τι ἐποίησεν τὸ στράτευμα·
With these words they were greatly encouraged and disposed even to die for the laws and their country.
