LXX Gen 37:22

εἶπεν δὲ αὐτοῖς Ῥουβὴν Μὴ ἐκχέητε αἷμα· ἐμβάλετε δὲ αὐτὸν εἰς ἕνα τῶν λάκκων τῶν ἐν τῆ ἐρήμῳ, χεῖρα δὲ μὴ ἐπενέγκητε αὐτῷ· ὅπως ἐξέληται αὐτὸν ἐκ τῶν χειρῶν αὐτῶν καὶ ἀποδῷ αὐτὸν τῷ πατρὶ αὐτοῦ.

“Do not shed his blood. Throw him into this pit in the wilderness, but do not lay a hand on him.” Reuben said this so that he could rescue Joseph from their hands and return him to his father.
