The Qur'an
وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِٱلْأُنثَىٰ ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُۥ مُسْوَدًّا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ
When if one of them receiveth tidings of the birth of a female, his face remaineth darkened, and he is wroth inwardly.
