The Qur'an
وَحَرَٰمٌ عَلَىٰ قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَـٰهَآ أَنَّهُمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ
And there is a ban upon any community which We have destroyed: that they shall not return.
