Qur'an 54:36 Classical Arabic The Qur'an

وَلَقَدْ أَنذَرَهُم بَطْشَتَنَا فَتَمَارَوْا۟ بِٱلنُّذُرِ

And he indeed had warned them of Our blow, but they did doubt the warnings.
