What this is
The ANCESTOR of the whole Solomonic cycle, and much older than the grimoires that carry his name. Solomon is given a ring by the archangel Michael and uses it to bind the demons who are building the Temple; each one is interrogated in turn and gives its name, the affliction it causes, and the angel that thwarts it. Everything later — the seals, the binding, the demon catalogue — grows from here.
