LXX 2 Macc 11:14 Ancient Greek Septuagint (Swete) — 2 Maccabees

ἔπεισεν συλλύεσθαι ἐπὶ πᾶσι τοῖς δικαίοις, καὶ διότι καὶ τὸν βασιλέα πείσει, φίλον αὐτοῖς ἀναγκάζων γενέσθαι.

And promised that he would agree to all things that are just, and that he would persuade the king to be their friend.
