LXX 2 Macc 4:25 Ancient Greek Septuagint (Swete) — 2 Maccabees
λαβὼν δὲ τὰς βασιλικὰς ἐντολὰς παρεγίνετο, τῆς μέν ἀρχιερωσύνης οὐδὲν ἄξιον φέρων, θυμοὺς δὲ ὠμοῦ τυράννου καὶ θηρὸς βαρβάρου ὀργὰς ἔχων.
So having received the king's mandate, he returned, bringing nothing worthy of the high priesthood: but having the mind of a cruel tyrant, and the rage of a savage beast.
